How about the Buick Encore? (Note price in Canuckistan dollars.)

It’s hard to see through the vape cloud.

I should send Elon my dry cleaning bill.

With it being standard on every coupe (that I know of), it is glaring in it’s absence; not that it’s necessarily unattractive. Agreed, the front was a travesty and only got worse with the mid-cycle refresh.

It’s only weird until you see one without...

Um... The fastest FWD production car is the Civic Type R with a 4.9 second 0-60. There are dozens of RWD cars that beat that. You can’t beat physics.

It’s the only time spirited driving can be done without exceeding the speed limit. a 20 mph drift is still a drift!

I have my company soccer mom wheels for practicality. I want fun.

I would agree that the 3 series is where rwd starts to make sense, but we likely disagree on which generation (e30 FTW) which happens to be pretty close in length as the current 2 Series.

The Macan outsold all 911's, 718's and Panamera’s combined in the US. The Macan and Cayenne combined is over 61% of their worldwide vehicle deliveries. The real advantage is the amortization of the fixed costs over more vehicles, enabling them to achieve those margins.

Really!?! Don’t you have enough FWD vehicles to choose from?

I have. They split the turbo inlet to match the input pulses of the exhaust gases. They are more efficient than a conventional mono scroll, but do little for accommodating a wider RPM range. Now a variable geometry turbo on the other hand emulates both a small and a large turbo, but be prepared to open your wallet.

An appropriate sized turbo for fast spooling leaves the engine gasping at high rpms, and big turbos suck at low rpm. The FA motors have a high redline meaning a lot of bandwidth to cover, do you size it for little lag or to run to redline?

This was my thought as well. It even has the uncomfortable back seats!

1. Too expensive, at least $4000 for something I wouldn’t use.
2. Poor visibility.
3. Lack of storage.
4. Squeaks, rattles.
5. Repair cost when it inevitably breaks.

I know right?!

Huzzah is a good name.

F-150's are much more common in the suburbs than in the urban cores, where the installation of chargers are possible.

A fixed roof to differentiate from it’s Mazda roots and I’d seriously consider one. Mazda sure as hell won’t make one.

As much as I am loathe to agree with anything President Cheetos says or does about anything, the Trump administration is right on this one. Even a broken clock is right twice a day though.
