What a cruel thing to say about a turd.

I’ll reserve judgement until I see in person. The good news is, being Audi there are 23 shades of grey available.

I read the article. No doubt a marketing putz with no technical comprehension put the graph together. However the Jalop article above does say 35 minutes for 150ish miles which is in line with the findings of the cleantechnica article.

Neutral: Yup.

I know a single parking spot can cost over $80,ooo in my city. Think space may contribute to someones’ decision?

Have eaten tacos. Can confirm.

I’m calling bullshit. Sub-compact cars meet current crash standards. I don’t see how they can’t make a compact truck meet them.

What’s this ‘Instagram’ that you speak of?

“...make it a class of one too.” I figured it was implied. As for the GX not being based on a 4Runner - news to me, but then I’m not a big Toyota fan. I know the previous generation 4Runner was based on the Prado, so by extension, wouldn’t that have made the GX a platform mate? I’d be shocked if they stopped platform

LOL, an $85K full size land cruiser in the same class as a $35K mid-size 4Runner?

Simple...

The GLK BlueTec is significantly quicker than my company 2018 Ford Edge I currently drive. I don’t need an SUV to perform like a sports car though (that’s what motorcycles are for). I need it to haul family and tow shit while getting 30% better mileage than the Ford. Oh, here in Canuckistan diesel is consistently cheap

I really wish you hadn’t written this article. I’ve been quietly waiting for the right GLK Bluetec at the right price to come along and the last thing I need is for anyone to be increasing the interest in these.

Couldn’t the same be said for Tesla fans?

You better get on that.

Why are comparing a crotch rocket’s reliability to a cruiser? How does a Harley do at 14000+ rpm? I can tell you an HD would shit it’s internals in pretty spectacular fashion while those “ricer burners” can bang the rev limiter all day long.

A cinematic masterpiece, and an Oscar worthy performance by Kevin Costner!

How many quarts of oil did it consume on your track day?

Harsh words, but you are right - automotive manufacturing jobs have historically paid a higher than average wages than other manufacturing (because unions). It’s also the reason those jobs are disappearing.
