They are still asking for comparable money while not having the refinement or the pedigree. Cost cutting measures on things like the hazard switch or A/C vent rings should be reflected in the price. It isn’t.

With our crash regs being pretty much the same as the US, they would need to give up the Canadian market too if they were to abandon the Golf.

I had the tri-fold. It could fold up and lean up against the cab of the truck providing full bed access, or unfold and close in and LOCK the contents of the bed keeping all my tools safe. In other words I did not need to empty the bed of my truck every day.

No doubt! At least the vehicles available in Europe tend to reflect that reality. We have NA vehicles built with the US consumer in mind.

Speakers and an amplifier can fix nearly any vehicle’s stereo. A good factory stereo is not much of a consideration for me...
