So...3.78 litres per US gallon, $.77US per CDN dollar, so we are paying $3.73US a gallon for regular; $4.28 for premium. Fuel economy is very high on the list.

I was going by memory after looking at them at the auto show. So looking at the configurator - $40K the GS with sport package after rebate; $45,600 for the RF GT with Grand Sport package after rebates.

Not me... The Miata in Canada has a $2500 rebate but the MSRP runs minimum $45K with the Sport package or $50K for the RF. A Mustang GT Premium with Performance Pack can be had for $40K. Me thinks the Miata is at least $10K too much.

Are CVTs and DCTs really as reliable as a traditional manual or slushbox?

I’m guessing the slammed Saab 9-7x won’t be hard to find...

The crux of the problem is not the V configuration, it’s the “transverse mounting. “F” wheel drive can “F” right off...

I’m only reading the comments for her reply...

Nah, I think a more telling measure would be sphincter pucker...

A return of the S-10 with a V8 would be awesome! I miss mine. (S-10 Blazer with a 350, back when they were simple enough to swap an engine in my garage)

It’s cheaper to produce metals closer to where the ore is mined, than to ship the ore.

The “Camry” race car is no more a Camry than this:

What does NASCAR have to do with anything? How does Ricky Bobby turning left in a purpose built tube frame RWD V8 powered race car have anything in common with a 4-pot or V6 powered FWD unibody 4 door sedan, driven by some asshat 20 mph slower than all the traffic around it in the left lane of traffic?

Schwinn-g!

Star for UHF!

He’s a fucking idiot. Well meaning, but as bright as a bag of hammers. Nice hair and colourful socks are just as successful at getting people elected as a Cheetos tan apparently.

For the commute, no. If they could take them on the track? Absolutely.

This is nothing new...
