Oh, this is easy...

Crack pipe, with a healthy dose of meth thrown in. You can get a much newer BMW 335 with more power, less mileage, and doesn’t have that atrocious crack den interior.

Acura has been a Honda with a nicer trim package for nearly 20 years, with only two notable exceptions. (NSX and S2K). This really doesn’t stray from that philosophy regardless of the claim the platform is Acura only. It’s still a front driver built from the Honda parts bin. Yawn.

LOL, well it depends where in Canada. Toronto is hot and very humid in the summer months, temperate in the shoulder seasons and frigid in the winter. Yes, high UV in the summer.

What the hell?! The Alpine is a HARDTOP. Not everyone wants a convertible.

Me, in sales - in Canada where the EV range drops precipitously in cold weather.

Most EV’s do charge over night. This is also when renewables (wind and solar produce) the least, if any electricity. The US currently produces about 66% of their power with coal and natural gas, so an increase in night time demand will most assuredly mean more fossil fuels being burned.

The rare earth metals/minerals such as lithium and cobalt needed to make batteries are finite resources too. Everything requires natural resources, it’s about being smart with them.

I’ll leave this here...

Not mine, but some of my favorites.

Pretty much every economy car is FWD. Premium cars have traditionally been RWD because the emphasis is on ride and handling, having better weight distribution, braking, steering and more engaging to drive. Without going too much into the physics behind it, weight is more evenly split front to rear, but more

FWD = Economy car. Way to dilute the brand.

The Evo is a hotted up, very quick $14K econo(shit)box. The Golf, even in it’s base trim is nearly Audi like in its fit and finish. You can keep your Evo - fast or not.

Q: How do you know someone is a Vegan?

I know this is a shock but the US is not the centre of the universe. Also - I’m comparing CDN to CDN, so... relevant.

Sorry... a Miata RF is pretty much $50K well optioned in Canada. MSRP of a 2018 Mustang GT Premium with Performance Pack is within spitting distance. Same for the Camaro SS 1LE. Both have 3 times the HP, and neither of those will give me skin cancer. Miata is no longer the answer.

And they live in igloos, and take the dog sled to work...

It sort of alternates. BC - 19, Alberta - 18, Saskatchewan - 19, Manitoba - 18, Ontario - 19, Quebec - 18, the Maritimes are all 19; as are the Territories.

The story is way more interesting than the truck...
