I had that happen with an earwig in the towel I was about to dry my face in! I know earwig is “nothing” compared to big ass Aussie spider, but I was living in Denmark and we don’t really have big ass anything there. It took years before I stopped shaking and gingerly inspecting towels before every single use.

I finished my first sock! It took me three tries to get the heel right and by then I had decided it would be a short sock so I could get to the tricky heel quickly.

Those 12 moms must have forgotten how their babies were subjected to nipple IN THE FACE multiple times a day for months on end *rolls eyes*.

I was thinking areola too, just not sure where the line for outrage is drawn in US.

Thanks :) No I’ve only ever tried the DPNs around 10 years ago and then the small circular as of Friday. What makes it easier with magic loop? Is that one or two longer circulars btw? Your pattern is gorgeous! I hope to progress to stuff like that some day :)

Haha :D DPN = Double pointed needles (the short ones you traditionally use to knit socks with). Yep homemade socks are devine. So soft, warm and no itchy mark left after the elastic from the commercial socks!

I have started my first pair of socks for OH. No more “wrestling the hedgehog” with DPN now that I discovered a tiny (30 cm) circular needle! *high five*
