What? Dude...what? It’s one thing to be wrong and another to be ignorant. There were black folk in the west. Some of them were thoroughly badass. Hell, Bass Reeves was one of the scariesf U.S. Marshalls in the history of the service. So nah, i wouldn’t call a game about a black cowboy “forced diversity”.

There were plenty of African Americans in the West, and “forced diversity” is how they got here in the first place.

Pleased to see Naughty Dog’s not included on that list. They seem to get some of the best performances out of voice actors I’ve seen in games, so... I was kinda hoping it wouldn’t turn out they were dicks to their actors.

Demanding that artists and devs need to be unionized is absolutely right, but you’re shooting your argument in the foot by first attacking the fact another group is and is demanding things.

Exactly! It’s easy to turn programmers and animators and all the others who work in thr gaming idustry against VAs by making it seem like “entitled” people whining.

That’s beside the point though. This isn’t about whether you like voice acting, it’s the fact that VAs are being exploited (which is probably part of the reason why they’re so bad to you in the first place).

Right, which is an important point here: the fact that developers don’t have these rights doesn’t mean that VAs shouldn’t get them; it means that developers should ALSO fight for these rights.
