This game looks goddamned gorgeous, but I totally feel you there. I’ve found myself playing more difficult games or trying to get all trophies/achievements and I think “Dude you don’t have time for this shit. Play something that you can enjoy and get through without too much hassle.” Life’s learning curve and

This article makes me glad I didn’t preorder.. I’m too old and broken for brutal learning curves and repetition.

A wild fedora-guy appears!

oh man is this a real post

Is this post satire?

What are you even getting at here? “Keep the gays outta my games”? “Don’t force LGBTQ representation into a series that has had LGBTQ representation in the past, and which the developers promised to include”?

Adding options is “hijacking?”

Counter-point: No it isn’t. This is a reasonable repercussion.

I would like to remind everyone that this is not censorship and that Playtonic as a private business has the right to express itself as they see fit. If they do not wish to include voice work by a controversial figure in their video game that is well within their right. Jon’s free speech was not violated in any way

Yet another “American anime adaptation” that casts a white guy as their lead instead of taking an interesting opportunity. “American adaptation” means “white people adaptation,” and that’s what’s so bothersome to some.

Yo, why are you guys always so quick to call someone an SJW for saying shit that should be basic? Come up with something new. You’re boring.

Where are the Japanese people :( ?

How is it conceited? Some people have a hard time following subtitles. I know I had to adapt to them myself when I was younger just because I was a slow reader. Not everything needs to be an SJW soapbox.

It’s not conceded to not enjoy reading a movie. It’s just a personal taste. Reading a movie will pull you out of the story. Some people can get past it. Others can’t. If anyone is conceded, it’s you.

Or you could... y’know... open your own wallet. Cuts out the middle part. Just sayin’

“We need more women, just because” is the kind of straw man that lazy thinkers use when they want to convince people that they don’t have to do any intellectual work. It’s not “just because”, and it never has been. Women buy and play video games, and are participating significantly in the economic market for video

No one is saying “don’t look at their experience”.

Knack on the PS4. Mark Cerny designed it with these thoughts in mind. It only uses the face buttons, for starters. It’s simple, but charming enough.

those WERE games for kids. the thing is they were accessible enough for kids as young as 3 to learn how to play it and even master it (well, not Zelda 2 at age 3 :P). The issue is that these days games for kids has taken the connotation of friendly characters and low budget, instead of high quality and accessible.

What about when you under 5, like the article is talking about?
