It said HIS mother, not yours.

You can’t be taken seriously if you use “social justice warrior” seriously.
I’m surprised you spelled most of those words correctly.
But...that’s dumb. The first two attempts the front wheel wasn’t on the ground, but for the last one it was. That’s probably your answer right there...
Not what i expected sombra to look like but i like the design if its real.
At this rate Sombra’s slogan might as well be ‘Drink More Ovaltine.’
“La sombra . . .? the shade? No, in this context, I bet it’s . . . the shadow!”
Man, I love Katie’s 24 hour comics so much.
You do realize that the article was at the very top of the front page when it was first posted, right?
I’m calling out Penny Arcade on their blunder. The “magic mushrooms” one character is insinuated as injesting never grow on rotten logs, only on cow dung. He is being poisoned, not seeing snakes. Amanitas Muscaria, which are symbionic with wood, do not cause the sort of visual hallucinations which Psilocybe mushrooms…
Ah yes, the machismo arch where everyone was infected by the jrpg virus.
Mob Psycho is bad? W-what? Are we in opposite land, next you’ll tell me that the new Berserk is fantastically animated and worthy of any praise-
I really enjoyed this anime, thought it was great. I have only been watching anime on a consistent basis for about two years. So to me this review seems a little snooty. Talking about tropes and what anime is supposed to be just seems kinda trite. I guess I was expecting more of a general review and you broke and…
I disagree rather strongly about the series getting worse as it goes along. I found the early episodes amusing but not too interesting and the later episodes fantastic.
I don’t think you got the main point of the show, Rigen is presented as a joke character, yet by episode 4 he is shown being super professional and having solid ethics, the overarching theme of the show is growing up, having powers is a childish thing, and epics battles are no more than schoolyard shenanigans, in…
Mob, whose psychic powers make him nearly invincible, is a total shrimp. So when he’s asked to consider joining the ESPer club, he instead joins the “body improvement” club for weight-lifters. For me, the delivery didn’t quite hit there.
Pro tip, Cecilia. Reviews don’t spoil what’s being reviewed because people use reviews to determine whether they want to watch it or not.
This review was a complete failure.
It is purposefully over-dramatic, like a soap opera. If that kind of silliness isn’t your thing, you probably won’t dig the rest of it. I will say that I couldn’t make up my mind whether I liked it or not until episode 3.
Nice review, I just finished this last night and in ways I almost like it more than One Punch Man (it takes plot cliche subversion to another level without being heavy-handed or passe). The quick swap variations in styles of animation are so great and add so much depth/beauty; Bones is the shit. I really hope season 2…
