That's smart on Ford's part. I can easily imagine GM doing the same thing, except that after testing and modifying the design for four years and getting all the bugs out so the product is finally reliable and works properly, upper management would abruptly cancel the whole project.
2.5 years of testing equals a highly refined truck. I don't understand how people can find a way to criticize this.
