Hm. I've found stock BMWs to push a bit much for my liking.

Question: is your car bone-stock?

Regardless of whether they did or didn't, it wouldn't change how the car landed.

Only because a metric shit-ton is more than a standard shit-ton. :p

Is it despite or because of the fact that it cost 5 cents to manufacture, do you think?

They've probably all rusted, crashed, or been made road-illegal in some way. If you really want one, you can get one for about $500 in the States. :p

Should be '79-'93.

Is it time for moar powur?

I feel sorry for you. You're right, but all the people commenting don't know why and think you're wrong...

Someone's been watching I, Robot

well,..when,..you,..put,..it,..that,..way,..

I disagree.

How is it false?

Without the powersliding and dirt slinging, do you think it would draw more or fewer people?

My argument is that the two are fundamentally the same: go through a corner fast and sideways. You're right, though, the crowd at a dirt track and the crowd at a drifting event are quite different.

...and that's why dirt track racing is so unpopular with rednecks.

Let's see which does better with an extra 800RPM and $25k per car in development money, while we're at it. :)

Handling!=road holding

Not Lamborghini. Reading comprehension, my friend.
