The man has a point.
The man has a point.
I'm not sure if "more power than a 10-year-old BMW" will be one of their selling points, though...
Trackday, bro.
It would be slightly less uncool if his BOV actually made a cool sound.
The only "tuning" of any E36 (with one or MAYBE two exceptions) I've seen over here is chopping the springs and installing a retarded-looking muffler on an otherwise stock, 80whp pos.
Why are you worried about a tiny, baby hatchback feeling "more premium"? It's never going to be as comfortable as a bigger car, or as cheap as a less "premium" hot hatch. It's not a LWB 7-series, it's a baby hoonmobile!
"Yeah, it has a stock LT1... I never said which generation of small-block though..."
I wish MY car could be that rigid...
Sophea who?
I thought it was bowling!
That thing was twitchy as hell. I was waiting for something like that to happen...
Engines that stand out to me for their sound include the S54, 2JZ, and GM's LS engines. I don't know why, but V6 engines don't really do anything for me. It's all a matter of taste, though.
Well, sound is very subjective. I personally abhor the sound of Nissan's recent V6 engines (VR and VQ).
It's a 1.5L I-3 making 280 lb-ft. Oh, and by the way, the engine weighs less than 100 pounds. I don't really think "more torque" is a reasonable request, unless you want to pay six figures or more for the car...
Ubiquitous, reliable, large aftermarket support, easy to get power out of, light weight compared to engines putting out similar power. I agree with you. #lsapologist
Poor LS3... then again, looks like fun and I can smell the rubber from this side of the screen :)
Funny story, my grandfather actually owned an STS before buying his current DD, an M45.
Exactly what I saw when I looked at the car.
Snooty old man burner is snooty.
Nice! Where was this taken?
