I’m a parent, I know how hard it is. As parents we ALL make mistakes and have regrets about some of our parenting choices. It’s life, you learn from it, you grow and move on.

Yeah, major source of contention in my family as BOTH of my parents (boomers, BIG SHOCKER) voted 3rd party. I have had to ban all discussion of politics in and around them because I get so irrationally angry at their willful ignorance.
