That’s the problem with all the zombie tv shows and movies. They’re set in the South w/o any readily available trucks with snow plows.

Yup. Another haughty elitist, able to throw stones from her ivory tower. White man bad!!
What a bunch of woke nonsense. If a male writer had written such jibberish about women, the mob would be looking to cancel his career.
Yeah, the only other likely option was steam, which still burns shit for power, and has much of the same negatives of IC with a few additional ones that saw its demise in competition with IC. She seemed to be taking a rather narrow point and expanded it much too far. PEOPLE have always sought out speed and power be…
I tried that and failed. Apparently it takes more than just self identifying as a trophy.
Out of curiosity, I just plowed through Dr. Daggett’s article. My immediate reaction is her brain might literally explode if you took her on a quarter mile run in that Hellcat Redeye Charger you just reviewed.
I don’t necessarily believe the bro trucks and muscle car crowd are the ones holding back EV adoption rate. In fact the automotive enthusiast demographics is better than it has ever been previously. Anthony covers it pretty well here:…
If there is one opinion I want on cars, it’s “academic” associate professor of political science and definite car enthusiast Cara Daggett, who seem to be another cog in relentless corporate-university-government leviathan of perpetual finger-wagging.
That’s quite the video. So many times a claim is made as the video shows the opposite.
The thing about stroads is that we have proven that they’re bad. Look at what happened during the Covid shutdowns of 2020: traffic fatalities went up by huge amounts even though fewer cars were on the roads.
Wouldn’t that sorta depends on what the CDC’s goal was, and what they based their decision on?
love it, you’re like a racist, except towards maskless people. “lets just make uneducated assumptions”
DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS?
But that’s going to happen anyway. At some point, we have to go back to normal and that’s going to suck for some people. For some this might be too soon; if it is, you should still wear a mask and stay away from crowds.
Yes. Of course. But all of the data shows that if you have the vaccine, you have such a low chance of getting Covid and/or passing it on to others that it’s not a problem. If you’re in a category that makes you susceptible, that sucks and I’m truly sorry about that. But it was like that before Covid. I had cancer…
“I will assume you are either vaccinated or stupid.”
I haven’t been sick in that same stretch of time, but as someone with major sensory issues, especially when it comes to anything that is even in the most distantly tangential way similar to restraints, wearing a mask is a huge deterrent to leaving the house, even if there were no disease out there to mask up against.…
I am proud to back you up on your unpopular opinion.
I and my wife are fully vaccinated and my kids will be in the next three weeks...after that, I’m maskless (well, so cal is still masked up until 6/15 but after that I guess) unless there’s a business that still requires it or something to that effect. But I’ve done my part. I’ll have my mask with me at times where…
You’re far more generous than me. I’m well past second shot. CDC says I can’t really get it in a serious way, nor do I carry the viral load necessary to transmit. I’ve been a good soldier and advocate. I’ve done all the right things and voted for the right guy. If you’re unvaxxed but can be, I’m not your savior anymore…
