I have a feeling the Democrats knew about Sessions earlier this week but held onto it until after Trump’s speech. That was just in case Trump was able to snow the media into thinking he was “acting presidential” by giving a good performance at his speech. He did. The media ate it up. And the Democrats pounced.

Apparently the Russian ambassador is a spy guy from way back, too, so naturally all of his phone calls are listened to as a matter of course. The behavior Flynn, Sessions, and the rest are exhibiting is akin to carrying a severed head into a police station and then trying to get your case thrown out on the grounds…

And when Trump is exhorting the public to buy American and hire American, but has recently applied for several HB-1 visas for people to work at his winery?

Something else just occurred to me, if the Russian ambassador guy recorded their entire conversation (in which they definitely discussed the 2016 election), the Russians now have blackmail material on Sessions. Just one more compromised GOP in the White House.
