How dare you, I will not hear one word against the masterpiece of rigorously researched hard science fiction that is Spaceballs!

I went to a friend’s wedding, which was nice but did mean that I spent a good chunk of the weekend on planes. Good thing I didn’t have any pressing deadlines.

This science fiction film uses fictional science! It’s an outrage!

Excellent, I look forward to watching the utter madness unfold from a safe distance.

Your majesty, your summit with the Emperor of Ice-Cream and the Sausage King of Chicago has been moved to Tuesday.

Faith an’ begorrah!

I just want to let you know that your Rot13 text looks like an invocation to Cthulhu and it amuses me.

This weekend I’m replaying Saints Row IV, because I was in the mood for something gleefully silly. My first attempt to scratch that itch was Crash Bandicoot 2, via the remastered trilogy, but gave up upon realizing that it was more or less the same setup as the first game, which I struggled through with little

Ah, but the Trickster looks ridiculous on purpose (and/or is mentally ill, depending on the version you’re working with). Dick designs silly costumes because he grew up in a circus and it skewed his perceptions of how human beings typically dress.

His music’s that little extra spice that makes The Simpsons extra nice!

Did you know that the medium of film has existed for longer than ten years, and in multiple countries? Strange but true!

He’s the sauce on their steak!

Oh great, now even Savage Love is a Game of Thrones article.

I endure.

Oh no, I haven’t studied! And I’m in my underwear!

It was too far out of his whey.

I dig the voiceover on the trailer embedded here, as it sounds like the narrator is just making up pitches for the movie off the top of his head to people who are all just about to get up and leave the second he stops talking. “It’s a fantasy, with wizards, and villains!” “Courage is rewarded!”
