I actually like Kick Ass (even if just for Nicolas Cage and nothing else), but I agree about 13 Assassins being the clear pick here.

Enemy at the Gates is a bad movie that I greatly enjoy.

Just googled "blackhawk down cast". That's insane.

I can never decide whose accent is worse—McGregor's or Jason Isaac's.

Obviously don't watch it if it's not your thing. But that first season is short, and season 2 is one of the best seasons of television put out by any show, ever.

Honestly, if it's well done meats that he's into, there probably isn't any region in the world better for it than the Middle East. For the most part, all meat is prepared well done, or close to it, so the cooks should at least know how to do it without killing the meat.

Mrs. Noodly Appendage and I collaborated on a bitchin' red lentil soup. I ground up peppercorns and thyme to make a seasoning to sprinkle into the soup, which was amazing.
