I knew it was something that at some point aired, but I am genuinely surprised that it's lasted 3 seasons. I saw the first couple episodes out of morbid curiosity, they were just dire.
I'm not really sure it's the same thing. Tech bros are probably pretty different from academic researchers in a lot of ways.
The Futurama comparison is completely on point.
What really infuriates me is that there has actually been a lot of positive and energetic shows out there that have much better acting and writing, but BBT has consistently beaten them in the ratings over the years. Think Parks and Rec.
Yeah, Parsons basically just played a more casually racist 1960s version of Sheldon, minus "Bazinga" and the lazy laugh track.

What I find really frustrating is that there really is not much "Spring" weather any more. It seems like it just skips over from Winter to go straight to Summer. And I'm not ready for hot weather yet.
