There is nothing to fear, madam. The Commander likes you. Nothing will happen to you. He likes you.

At least it was better than Ghostbusters 2.

No, they said it could not get any worse.

I made a creamy scampi with shrimp, scallops, and tagliatelle this past weekend. That was pretty great.

My mother is currently away in Florida for a few weeks, and far away from me. That's kind of the ideal Mother's Day for me.

There's a small brewery, Modist, near where I live in Minneapolis that is actually pretty solid. I've gone there twice now in the last two weeks with Mrs. Noodly Appendage and friends, and the offerings are really good. It's not Surly good, but not too far off.

They definitely can be, but there's a fine line between passion and abuse, and from what I've seen there's a lot of inappropriate, abusive behavior in the industry. And you can't complain about it, because if you take the appropriate legal action you'll be totally blackballed from ever cooking in a real restaurant.

Yeah, the kitchen is a war zone during service. There's no time for nonsense.

Damn…

Ah yes, the "I must punish myself as I get hammered' school of thought.
