If you’re too busy to talk, don’t pick up the phone. I can’t stand when people call me (who I talk to enough that I obviously have their number saved) and ask if I can talk. Like if I couldn’t, you’d be leaving a voicemail or texting me.

I just buy rechargable batteries. Even better solution than built in, since they can easily be replaced when they wear out.

If Nest doesn’t have internet access, it just functions as a basic learning thermostat. Not sure why it wouldn’t work if Google is having issues. Also never heard of light bulbs not working. All my smart bulbs default to on if you turn the power source off than on again. So it functions like...a light bulb. 

This episode was fun when looking at it from a "good guys" versus "bad guys" perspective. We should theoritically be rooting for the pirates, but at the same time, Mando is our hero so we're rooting against the pirates and we're relieved when the tie fighters show up.

First gear is misleading in how the latter groups are represented. Yes they sided with the Trump administration, but they likely support having a singular standard, in an effort to simplify development and lower costs.

Completely agree. There have been some nice looking modern vehicles that don't look angry. The 2000s Jaguar XJ and XK come to mind. On a more mainstream note, I found the original G35 quite attractive and that car isn't particularly aggressive looking at all.

Whenever I see one and get excited and whoever I'm with asks what the big deal is, I say "you know what a Bugatti is? That Passat basically has half of a Bugatti engine powering it!" Then I get a funny look and have one less friend.

One of the sillier things I’ve done is drive a cutaway E350 with a 7.3 powerstroke with nothing on the back. It’s strange looking behind you and only seeing a spinning drive shaft.

Im not sure anybody really knows this feature exists, but Subarus gave a very crude version of this where you press the lock/unlock button on the tailgate in sequence to lock or unlock all the doors without the key. One day I'll try actually setting it up, but it just seems very cumbersome.

The return to the fingerprint reader has me thinking this is the perfect upgrade from my Pixel 3. I’m excited about 90hz refresh and bigger battery especially.  I don’t do much beyond email, web browsing, and photos so it fits my needs perfectly.
