I was 11 and making my first summer visit to my newly-divorced Dad. He had moved away to Arizona, so we took a dad-and-son camping trip to the Grand Canyon. In Dad’s usual style, though, it would be crass and obvious to actually go to the Grand Canyon and stay in some regular old campground. Our mission was to load up

The first day of driver’s ed. The kid before me got out from behind the wheel in a school parking lot. The instructor told me to back up, back up and turn, go forward and turn, park, and then said, “OK, let’s head out on the road and drive this kid home”. The other kid then says, “I’ve been taking lessons for weeks,

That child is suffering from a severe case of Noassatall.

What high heels?

It wasn’t a cell phone video. Notice it isn’t in portrait mode.

It is indeed very cool. Every time I see this sort of thing, I think about my grandfather. He was born in 1893 and would have been 13 when this video was produced. Only three paragraphs in, and I KNEW it was another Obuchowski piece.

First off, the stories you write take up too much of my workday reading them.. So thank you for making my days shorter.

See?

THIS is why I give you guys shit when you just post a Youtube Video and write half a paragraph.

Cause this is fucking art. It’s a goddamn book, but its beautiful. If such things were possible, my heart would have grown “3 sizes that day”.

As a frequent builder of muscle cars, I would put money on it being a Mustang II front cross member/setup and a generic 4 link suspension in the rear.

This is like a cover band that uses more expensive musical equipment than the original band.

Now that is a pickup truck. Still looks good today.

Very interested to understand your comment. What are you saying that I “didn’t believe because lol”?
