My in-laws decided to travel internationally to visit us in our tiny apartment the same week I had my first baby. Fuck off. Why should she sideline her own career in deference to her husband’s? The woman wants to work. She earned a doctorate in pursuit of that work. She has every right to keep working and to be paid for that work.
