I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but racism isn’t exclusively a white thing, ancient or otherwise. Racism exists throughout every culture and in many, many different forms.

All these numbers prove is that the gamers cannot be trusted to deliver a fair review as their emotions make them blind to viewing the game for what it is, instead of what they want it to be. Numbers are not useless and they can matter, you just have to use them properly and not as a form of social justice to punish

Its always nice to see the fight against racism, which judges people based on something as arbitrary as skin color, being justified by judging others by their occupation. Yes, some members of the police have done terrible things, just as some blacks commit violent crimes, but that doesn’t mean all cops are bad, nor

At this point any big company with a clue will do anything in their power to avoid offending the masses in any form possible. I still don’t know what The Last of Us 2 did, but I’m sure it’s some form of social justice punishing Naughty Dog for something of the utmost importance.

Should console players even bother with playing this on a 7 year old system at this point? This is starting to seem like it would be worth waiting for the inevitable next gen release at this point.

Honestly, every time I read about Destiny I’m glad I decided to put my time into Warframe instead. I used to love Bungie back in the Marathon and Myth days, and Halo was incredible for it’s time, but Destiny never connected with me in any meaningful way.

It was super shitty by Epic. My son was outside playing and the game went longer than he wanted but we finished. When we came inside there was like 28 minutes until the event was going to start and he never got in to see it because the capacity was reached before then. We had to load YouTube onto the TV so he could

Why does one employee of a company represent the entire company? Or to give an example, does that mean that Trump represents every American?

You say that and yet police officers who have done absolutely nothing wrong are being targeted. Even homes in my area that have signs that say they support the police are being vandalized. I’m sorry so many atrocities have been committed by the police against minorities, but that doesn’t mean that anger is the

This is simply being naive. They will just play Call of Duty or whichever shooter they own for a few hours until the servers go back online. There is such a thing as willful ignorance and forcing them to reflect will accomplish nothing in this case, especially if they are already immature.

My family has been under home quarantine for months. There is rioting in my city and I have friends who are police officers who also have families of their own. Do you really want me to make a stand? I just came here for some video game news to take my mind off of things for a while. I used the correct filter to do

I use the Core filter which is supposed to avoid articles of this nature. The article has since been removed from Core. I have no issue with the contents of the article, just where it was visible.

My only issue was that it was listed under Core and that has been resolved. I enjoy Kotaku’s articles, I just don’t want non-Core articles in my feed.

If I want politics I can go to Kotaku.com. If I want only video game news I have Kotaku Core. If I want American politics without the spin I have BBC.

While I understand the need to voice your perspective on these events. Can you please make sure this doesn’t display on Kotaku Core? This is not video game related news. I don’t come to Kotaku for American politics, I have BBC for that.

That fact that you started with 'Get angry' means the rest is entirely lost. Anger begets anger.

When the Bulls and Lakers 3-peated, and fans were celebrating, why were there riots and looting? The Cubs won for the first time in over a hundred years and while there was a huge amount of people it remained mostly civil, drunk and disorderly aside.

A handful of cops were using inappropriate force and murdered a black man. It happened, it was recorded, and they will be prosecuted according to the law. Are you really holding all cops accountable for the actions of those few? Last time I checked looting a Target has nothing to do with George Floyd, but I guess

Perpetuating stereotypes goes both ways. If you want change you need to make changes. Recent events will not improve the outcome for the stereotypes that exist.

I’m pretty sure the angry clowns are busy doing other things. The rest of us are just trying to stay safe inside our homes.
