To be fair, most of them have been able to get away with such behavior for their entire lives. The general idea is that if a developer fails to resolve an issue before releasing it and that can be exploited, then the developer has somehow approved the use of the exploit. Don’t ask me why so many players think this

How does adding a second main character option double the amount of game? I'm all for having options, but let's not make ridiculous claims in defense of these options.

So much for Microsoft and Xbox leading the crossplay initiative. The moment they have to pay for servers they drop Steam, Switch and PS4 with promises of it being released sometime next year for consoles. Mind you the game has been out for 8 years on PS4 in Japan so it’s not like they have to test anything there.

The irony here being that they complain about it being too easy and still didn’t change it back to normal difficulty.

No company is the same company from one year to the next. Your point is true, yes, but it is true for every company in the world.

To be clear, FFXIV launches through an app that accesses Square’s servers. There is no direct contact with Sony’s servers. I mean this is exactly the type of uninformed argument I am talking about when someone tries to blame Sony and defend MS. And to be clear FFXI was available for crossplay on PlayStation and Xbox

You must be new to console gaming because Sony has been an advocate of crossplay on the PlayStation since 2002 (2004 in NA). The recent crossplay antics with Fortnite and Rocket League are simply in response to Sony destroying MS this generation.

The issue is fairness. Players need a chance to defeat the same enemies that another player does before they get harder. It’s bad enough with patches where certain weapons/skills get nerfed because they are too strong and if you are not using them before the nerf you are basically handicapping yourself. Now imagine a

Except Gearbox already stated they won’t be adding new characters. So unless you start a new alt you will never experience these changes. The DLC has nothing to do with what is changing in the campaign.

At what point does this go from ‘too little, too late’ to ‘so late, only Steam will care'?

As a console gamer I would totally consider GeForce now as a way to play certain games that I normally would not have access to. The monthly fee is nominal and I can subscribe based on my availability, the games still need to be purchased, and eventually this may lead me to wanting to buy a PC that can handle moderate

It’s 2020 and BL3 still doesn’t offer stat rerolls or weapon crafting. Its has a bazillion guns and almost none of them have any value. The new level cap just made all items obsolete and the only thing players can do is regrind everything. As much as I enjoy BL3, it's a very poorly designed game by modern standards.

This just in... Kotaku writer doesn’t know how to use Google before publishing article.

Agreed. What boggles the mind is an article praising bad UI design from an author that is supposed to be educated in modern gaming. I mean modern gaming has quick menu options all over the place yet Gearbox couldn’t figure out how to do a hold R1/RB and press a face button to quick select a weapon? This would free up

I hate to say it but as an adult gamer and parent I’m all for federal regulations regarding time spent playing video games and limiting money spent on microtransactions. Keep in mind, these regulations would be for minors under the age of 18, not for adults (with exceptions made for emancipation).

I hate to say it but this is an antiquated perspective. Why do you need both at the same time? Are you watching both simultaneously? I have two boys and they easily convert from Netflix to Hulu to PBS or whatever else is available. In fact they enjoy shows more when they haven’t seen them in a while. So watch Disney+

Shadowrun on the 360 had PC vs console crossplay and they used a very effective stabilizing mechanic that limited how quickly your character could turn or recover from recoil or fast aiming. For consoles this effect was hardly noticeable, but on PC players had to steady their shots and actually aim to be effective. It

The devs are extremely active on reddit and have posted exactly how scaling currently works. The scaling system is very fair, but it does punish you if you bring in a player with top tier gear into a new player's game.

As a parent and 30+ year gamer (not my age, how long I have been playing), I can tell you that parental controls do very little to fix the psychological exploitation of children by loot boxes and battle passes. Sure, I can restrict how much they can spend but the fact that they cannot control the urge because the game

And yet public indecency is a criminal act. The issue here is that when most mother’s breastfeed, they are not broadcasting it over the Internet. If she wants to breastfeed while streaming then she can easily turn off the camera while she does it.
