Not the OP but I mix 1 bar Fels Naptha (grated), 1 C washing soda, and 1 C Borax. There’s only 2 people in my house and we do laundry every two weeks or so, so it lasts a couple of months.

YUP. I use Fels Naptha instead of Doc Bronners, but I LOVE it. So cheap, lasts forever, and I don't worry about over-sudsing my wash.
