Yup. I tend to exude pretty strong “leave me alone” vibes if I’m out by myself and I don’t think I’ve ever been approached by anyone who’s made things weird (beyond short conversations about crochet, which I can tolerate). The wedding ring helps, but even before that nothing ever happened. Seriously wonderful.
