My parents got 2 copies of the Sports Illustrated when the Sox won it in ‘04- one for the family and one for me to take apart and put on my walls. That image got a spot of honor right above my bed. Literally my favorite sports image ever (after Brandi Chastain in the ‘99 World Cup).
Yeah, anecdotally my dad was around more for me and my brother than he was for my half-sibs (because they split custody in the divorce; dad got my sister, their mom got my brother). Dad and half-brother have kind of a similar relationship to Caitlin and Brody only with fewer cameras and forced interactions.

There’s also the fact that a LOT of people gain weight in college (hence why the “freshman 15” is such a stereotype) due to poor eating habits and stress. Like Lilly mentioned, if she was already heavier and depending on how she carried it's possible she wouldn't have noticed.
