Something like 65% of electricity is generated from fossil fuels in the US. Just because your car is powered by electricity doesn’t make it clean.

It is mind-blowing that the Pilot is the same or higher priced for less options and 3" extra length. I don’t get it.
The flood of off-lease vehicles pushed 2016 MDX prices down. The original sticker on ours was like $48k. We bought it for $27k 3 years later with 40k miles. That’s like 40% depreciation and we didn’t get a smoking deal, it was in line with other dealers in the area.
PE is the worst for sure. I worked for a smaller (awesome) company that was acquired by another company backed by PE. That PE-backed company kept acquiring more and more little (awesome) companies to turn it into a hateful mess of disorganized chaos. But it then became large enough for the first PE company to sell off…
The MDX is the correct choice, mainly because it’s the choice we recently made. We bought an off-lease 2016 fully loaded for a good bit under $30k and it’s loaded with features and has enough room for another rear facing car seat...because are you sure you’re stopping at one kid?
I would love to have heard the board’s discussion about why it would be a good idea to strip an executive of 90% of their income (regardless of reason) rather than fire them. It looks incredibly shady and a lawsuit was inevitable.
Bravo! Take a bow.
There is no greater trial by fire than having your learner’s permit and sitting at an uphill red light with your Dad next to you, a line of traffic behind you and a manual gearbox. Make this boy a man!
Oh wow....I started with the Daniel episode and working back. Damn.
I have a serious dilemma that urgently needs rectifying.
Have you guys checked out Nico Rosberg’s podcast yet? He had a great interview with Daniel Ricciardo - good F1 talk.
*with the exception of Francis Drake, who I am moderately well-informed about.
Fucking cancer. This poor kid and his poor, poor parents.
The guy that had all his team’s constructor’s points removed after evidence of spying/theft? They also didn’t win the constructor’s championship, although they were close.
Of course. He’s a tech guy, and short of Ross Brawn’s magical 2009, who was the last tech guy to lead a team to a championship? You’re going to go back a long way to find one.
I think Binotto is not long for his job. The length of time the team (Binotto) takes to make obvious decisions is mind-boggling. They have lost quite a few points because of it and are thus effectively out of championship contention after race 5.
I comparison shopped some new SUV’s from Hyundai, Kia, etc and during research I discovered that off-lease MDX’s were flooding lots and they were SO much nicer inside and out for a lot less with low mileage and usually the balance of factory warranty. We needed a wider car, but if you can go smaller I saw the same…
Whoa buddy, easy with the “chief”, OK pal?
I just tell them up front I won’t wait for more than an hour. I’m nice about it, but I say I have stuff to do and I’ll give you an hour. It hasn’t been an issue.
