First thing I thought when I saw she’d been skating.

My A Level English teacher (HS equivalent, I think) temped for British Gas in the late 1980's early 1990's. She was fired for systematically changing all the ‘Miss’ accounts to ‘Ms’.

There’s a user icon I was not expecting to see! Did you hear about Tiote? Sad times.

And a van has just plowed down pedestrians on London Bridge...

How?!! I’m in the UK so NHS (clinging on to it for dear life) - but my friend had a private ultrasound done last week at 8 weeks because she wanted one, and she wasn’t due another until 12 weeks. She paid £60 for it. £60. To a for-profit company. Staffed by fully trained people.

The weird thing was, he was so sure! I found myself questioning if I really was from the UK, or if I had missed something major while I was away!

Anecdotal, but I’ve travelled to New York, Boston, Chicago and most recently Miami in the last two years from the UK. I won’t be returning until Trump is gone.

May the force be with you. 😉

This is exactly what’s going on in our house right now! Over the last 3 years we’ve been to Miami, Chicago, New York and Boston. However, our ESTAs have just run out and we’re not renewing them. Buuut the new Star Wars lands at Disney are due to open in 2019... I hope for everyone’s sake Trump is gone by then!

Round my way, we do the ‘Stride of Pride’

Everyone says not to be afraid. That if we are afraid, the terrorists win. But I am afraid.

There is an app! I flew out of Miami last year and there were issues and I’d heard bad things about the lines there so I downloaded it and it was kinda right - I think it was actually by the TSA?

I’m the pigeon.

Can I ask a question?

You did better than my mum when I was a kid. One day, walking back from school, she told me the sun would die and then there would be no light or heat and we’d all starve. It was all very scientific and I guess technically true, but she never specified a time frame. I got up before dawn for weeks, staring at the

You don’t have to wait until then - there are protests about the ban tomorrow. I’m at my local one in Newcastle, but I’ve seen details of a London one too!

CoD 4 was my introduction to FPS, and I loved it. I’ve played the series consistently (possibly obsessively) since, and at one point was pretty good. The inclusion of female characters in the recent reissue THRILLED me. I remember being so annoyed at the first Black Ops, which I loved, because the only female in the

Oh god this! When the 3Ds came out, I went into a shop with my boyfriend to go have a look. The bloke in the shop talked to my boyfriend for ages about Zelda and all the new stuff. After a while, he turned to me and said brightly, ‘it’s got Nintendogs too!’

In the U.K. (at least from my little liberal bubble - I don’t actually know anyone who voted leave...) I think Brexit was a bit more about nationality than colour - returning Britain to the British. That’s why the Polish are being singled out - a lot of people point at them as the most recent migrants, and blame them

Personally, I use extraordinary when I’m too polite to say I am bamboozled or flabbergasted. So quite often, then!
