I use SyncToy to backup my stuff. It works really well for detecting changes and having a Nice GUI for selecting exceptions and the like.
Amazon Warehouse can have some good deals and it never gets a good amount of publicity. Amazon MP3 puts out tons of free credits on a regular basis, so you can pick up single songs for for free if you're alert.
Electric Canned air/duster....
I don't know how much easier it is, but google voice generates a text email address for every phone number conversation. So I saved each contacts text-email to their contact info and end up using that exclusively instead of ever going into the google voice interface.
Just to summarize a lot of the comments here (and my experience): Resetting your ipad 3 sounds like a suggestion, it's not. I had to reset all content and settings, go through the wizard, then use Absinthe (2.01 is out now).
It took me a few minutes to get into Primer. The movie starts off very... slow and different. But it's rewarding to sit through that part because it's a very cerebral movie that really gets the brain thinking about causality. I loved it.
My favorite way to cook bacon is on my george foreman grill. It's practically the only thing I still use it for. It comes out slightly crispy, but perfect in that it breaks apart when I bite into it, perfect for sandwiches and snacking. Plus the GF grill hits up quick and is easier to clean.
I swear the opposite advice was recently posted about raising your internal body temperature within an hour of going to bed. I guess that's science for you!
I recently added my work exchange email to my iPhone running iOS 5.01. It is jail broken. The exchange policy is forcing my phone to lock the screen after 5 mins.
" 2) Try the laptop out for yourself." Excellent point.
Oh man, I needed this for my past job hunt. I tried to document where and when i applied, but when you're really going at it, that becomes really difficult.
Whats the Siri hack called that makes it always listen that you alluded to?
I started using TheRenamer ([www.therenamer.com]) on a full time basis lately, and I've been very happy with the results.
I'm currently only using Gtalk with a very small subset of my contacts accessible through there. The rest can use non-instant forms of messaging through Facebook (chat disabled) or email.
I finally got around to making this. I actually wrapped the wires in rubber bands since I had a bunch on hand, and it seems to make a snugger fit that works well with the iphone.
I've looked at something similar, and I think the free-est way is to start an FTP server with your files, and look into using a dynamic DNS server like dyn-dns.org.
I'm backing up a lot of data at home and the evolution of my solution has been to use an external USB 3.0 hard drive, for which I installed a PCIe USB 3.0 card, and run SyncToy on a bi-weekly basis.
Plugged my numbers in since I graduated with my MBA last year and changed jobs... Not as high as I thought the difference would be. Makes me think I did something wrong.
