@kcoppock: Nope borders and Kobo are just partners in the ebook market, no ownership or otherwise affiliated.

This has been in my IT toolkit for sometime, a great app. Not happy to hear about the bing toolbar, but better than paying for it I suppose.

@glaeven: the price is good. I'm a minimalist when it comes to ebook readers, and I have the Sony PRS-505. Great piece of hardware. Reads book, plus music (worthless feature).

@hewhoroams: Oh and I'm also looking for an iphone that can do something with Portuguese. Ideally just a lookup and speak sort of thing, but I've got a few text ones that might be helpful.

@dave.wernli: put your name on it somewhere. Like a written by/created by, etc, for starters.

@hewhoroams: My bank is already aware of my travel, but I can basically choose either an amex with no foreign transaction fees or a visa with no foreign transaction fees.

@farcedude: AT&T does random sweeps of what devices the Sim cards are in and will probably hassle you and force you on a data plan.

I'm leaving for my first out of country experience to Brazil on sunday. I'm going for a study abroad type experience through my school.

I cant help but think that that making outlet face-plates that are indented or facing diagonally would just be a better idea.

I've switched 99% of all my SMS communications to email through my iphone.

@farcedude: Honestly, any PC will do. You need some server version of windows, 2003, 2008, etc.

@rebeldevil: Soundhound for iphone is the same. Used it many times since its beginning.
