@russbii: You could split the wires prior to the first switch and have it run to both switches. That seems right in my head, but I'm not an electrician, I'm from the internet.
@wickedcupofjoe: I turned my last gen desktop into my media server. Left windows 7 on it, but started using the onboard RAID and bought a few TB drives. Works great. I put a 5450 radeon in it as well, so it spits out the video it holds to a nearby TV.
@tasadek: Use google voice's SMS feature
@russbii: Sounds like the switch is in series, or dependent on the first switch to receive the current.
This is a great idea, I know i've looked for discounted cards before making some purchases with no other discounts.
I'm so smart, I got bored reading this.
An alarm clock that release a fart smell seems the logical conclusion.
@ydant: A laptop with the proper docking station can push out to 2 (maybe 3) monitors.
This might be a dumb request, but I really like it on gizmodo where they indicate what deals are actually in the pictures.
@okenny :) ...building bridges (to hide under): The presence of the Cisco IP phone indicates to me that it's work related.

@natethomas: well he didnt have a myspace (+1) and his facebook page was free from stupid and embarrassing photots.
@pettiblay: From the other side, it's in my best interest not to hire someone who goes out partying during the week, or has pictures of them being associated with drugs, etc.
I wouldn't say I've hired or not hired someone based on these searches, but it definitely helped reaffirm a decision one way or another.
This is pretty easy with public companies, but a lot more difficult with private ones.
@greasedupdeafguy: I had similar windows 7 issues based on a driver issue. I had my monitor with USB hub plugged in and it absolutely killed windows 7. So I would recommend trying to update all your drivers for windows 7.
I'm currently using my last gen box as my NAS. It has the benefits of being able to run my torrents, function as an RDP node for my network, and secondary tasks.
@TehBeardMan: I wouldn't go that far, simply based on the price of it. The model they released.... W3000 or something? Sounds more affordable. I was able to get my WRT600N cheap because of the release of those new products, but still over $100.
