I don’t entirely agree. There is a definitely feeling of cohesion between all the films, but I do feel like there are touches in each of them that reflect the director and the project at hand.
Every day I don’t hear about PoI getting renewed, I get a little angrier and a little terrified.
Oh, definitely — though a) I imagine the new movies will be full of CGI, and b) as a lot of people have pointed out, the prequels were full of practical effects (miniatures, models, paintings, etc.) but everyone assumed Lucas had used only digital (mainly because the bad CG tended to really stand out).
I have not gotten a chance to watch the Flash yet. This needs to be rectified immediately.
I’m guessing there’s a lot more building behind her that’s going to be matted in.

Post doc and adjunct/contract teaching doesn't pay that well, and given the workload. You'll probably make more money (for awhile) than most academics. So, good choice. :)
