I love this car much better without the wing and splitter.  I know they are functional, but so is a truck bed and I don’t want that either.

you know, now one will hear your judgment of the corvette driver while it passes you :-).  I like the Porsche too - except for the antiquated manual transmission.  In a car that sophisticated it’s like an iPhone with rotary dial.  Sure, you use your hands - but so what? It’s slower.

Stop pretending this car doesn’t suck and that the people who drive them haven’t compromised any hope of an enjoyable car because they have responsibilities and budget concerns that overshadow every other portion of buying a car.  This thing sucks.

I have a 2017 Corvette Grandsport. I got it as a more sensible option to the two 911’s I’ve had over the last 8 years or so. It’s a fantastic car. Yeah, the plastics and switches are not as AAA quality as the Porsche, but it’s a great, fun car. I’m interested in the C8. I hope the price doesn’t increase…

The only thing that I see that bothers me is that the back ends on these always seem like they are dragging a bit, as though it has too much cargo in it - even when it‘s just the driver. Kia makes a good car and this thing will probably feel like a steal compared to a Honda Pilot - which might be the most similar car…

I have a corvette grand sport and the things are literally causing a lawsuit because of damaged wheels.  The wheels themselves are a bit on the delicate side, with regard to how thick the spokes are - but good grief the rear tires are like a 25 series!

Between the price (high) the performance (low) and the economy of the motor (good but not a revelation) it‘s easy to understand why someone didn‘t spend the extra money.  I think passenger car buyers will likely remember the VW scandal too.
