It looks like a coffin

Everything you’ve written is totally subjective and, if i’m honest, is bullshit.

I really think this is what sport sedans are all going to look like in 5 years...

I’m surprised Alfa didn’t buy it back to find out why it isn’t breaking.

Love the aftermarket brake duct on the bumper!

I’m not going to scream or yell and clearly the 13 year old part is hyperbole but SERIOUSLY, there is a very clear logic to all of this and it 100% with zero ambiguity is keep your kid facing backwards until the last possible moment.

They can’t afford this.

This car looks nice and if ones needs are specific, it’s handy.  The rest is a fair disaster.  It’s at least 10,000 dollars too expensive.  It has 50 hp too few.  It’s at least 400 lbs too heavy, and instead of really cool tech, it relies on gimmicks as interior styling.  Shame on BMW for kneecapping this car on so

I’d have loved to buy one of those with an ST drivetrain.  I know I’d lose on handling but the hills and potholes where I live would make the compromise a fair one.  But I want the big motor.

I told my daughter the same thing about a mule.  She still wants the pony :-).  We agree.

Seeing that is is a little heartbreaking because it would be easy to do again, they just don’t bother.  Like a BRZ that anyone would actually want.

I had one of the outgoing generation.  It was an R design so it was great fun.  But it was no roomier than a VW Golf in most measurements and the luggage area was borderline pathetic.  It was very fast though. :-)

I like the current Outback because they are easy to pass and the drivers have absolutely no illusions about their place on the road.  It’s in the slow lane in the car their grandmother would have chosen and that is fine.  Just practicality with a tinge of sadness and absolutely nothing aesthetically appealing in any

Torque.  Sound Deadening.  CarPlay. I’m also one of the blasphemers who’d love a decent automatic in a sports car.

Not true. Have done it. A Honda Odyssey on Blizzaks is complete crap in as little as an inch of snow and a Pilot on the OEM all seasons is pretty unstoppable. This is an argument tailored for people who haven’t tried both and like to armchair quarterback.

I think 26 is what you’re looking at for that model.

Their reliability is good but they are lazy lazy lazy about updates.  What cars even have CarPlay at this point?  And do their cars have to be SO gutless?  The Koreans aren’t a laughing stock anymore.  Toyota has to adapt to live.

I’d have 100% bought one if it had awd.  A very nice car, but I run too many errands for family and work and I live in the Northeast.  But it’s a fantastic car.

I get what you’re saying and it’s good vitriol but kinda simplistic. First of all the kid was a child-star. Kids don’t have control over their careers and the Jacksons’ father was worse than most showbiz parents. Look how messed up just about all of them seem to be. I do not think MJ the little kid was a monster. I

What I’d want to know is if they fixed the Pilot’s terrible suspension.  It’s a fantastic car otherwise.  But it’s both floaty and fussy on its feet.  Did they make it even worse?
