This is still the least attractive TT ever made. They completely ruined the original - even if it still is recognizable as a TT. I hate this car for not being as good as the original.

I wish they would have just given it a proper ducktail and not that whateveritis between the tail lights. Otherwise, this car is just plain wonderful.

Because it’s been 30 years since a movie that felt like Star Wars existed and that being to creative or innovative might have started a backlash?

Yay! A Tesla made by people in slavery-like conditions!

I’d also hasten to add that when doing research, realize that your salesman is an employee of the dealership, is probably not a college graduate with a deep understanding of your personal finance, who is under some pressure to get you to leave with something - regardless of how much you need it or can afford it. Don’

I have but one complaint. I think the car is actually very elegant, FWD-based or not. Bently has sold a lot of spectacularly nose-heavy luxury cars so I’m thinking this is a secondary issue. What I think Lincoln should have done is called it the Continental 400 and offered it exclusively with the 3.0. Yeah, it would

He was being passed on two sides. Superbikes are really fast. They don’t crash well. Live by the sword... I have no sympathy at all for people trying to dance with Darwin. If people with superbikes want to demonstrate their dominance, they can go to a track and drive as fast as they damn well please.

Makes the line more coherent and a 100k electric car doesn’t need a puppy-nose as part of its styling. To me it seems a shame that they are talking about raising prices. I don’t know how close to capacity they are running or what their inventory is like, but I would have thought economies of scale would have made the

yeah, how many generations old is the STi motor now?

A 50% reduction in fussiness and this would be just right. If Lexus had build this inote ad of that awful coupe they went with, people would buy it

I think this was the nicest looking truck that was ever made, but for that much money, it’s smarter to get a more capable, newer truck. But Toyota should build a new truck that has these proportions.

The only way this could be more German would be if it happened at a David Hasselhof concert sponsored by MB.

In all honestly, the R-Design is a better compromise for most budgets.

I wonder if this engine will be a Polestar-Only. The base motor is only around 300 but the old R Design had an extra 25p and 30+ lb/feet. I’d find the extra power more tempting without exotic suspension. Also, they should REALLY consider doing this with the long wheelbase model that isn’t as cramped in the backseat. I

Both of these show cars were fantastic designs for their eras. Unfortunately, they stuck to the GM mantra, of “this looks cool, how can we ruin it?” that was executed so effectively on the Trans Port (which sounds entirely different in today’s vernacular) and the Aztec.

I think any of the Seat or Skoda cars would sell here as a VW. They should be less expensive and to be honest, they are more stylish than the diluted VWs that we’ve been getting. The Passat looks like a previous gen Impala.

You’re one of the best things about Jalopnik. This was fun to read, and smart. Curious how many miles the two cars had. Buying a used Porsche often means a high mileage car because they are so easy to use.

Other than the weapons, anyone who’s seen contemporary cosplay, or even a high school hallway, would have to admit this is pretty much art reflecting life. Is it necessary? Of course not, but anyone making this an issue... just go play Pikmin.

seconds before realizing it was just a Yaris (Japanese for Squirrel-Safe?)

Must have hit a sparrow while drag racing and needed the hood replaced.
