Cars like this made Schreyer a very wealthy man by making his job absolutely critical.

Wow, did the squirrel survive being backed into?
The wheels on that mirage remind me of Donald Trump’s hands :-P
Most iconic seems a bit hyperbolic given the Jeep’s and Rang Rover’s and Land Cruisers. But this would replace the poor tired old Equenox nicely.
I looked at the crash test for the clubman. It’s the largest coffin mini makes. And you know what the scores are for that Golf R that is actually cheaper?
I don’t care for it because it looks like airline wings over a gaping hole in the front of a car. I do really like the cut line of the bumper and headlights. But this was a nicer looking and more confident design than the current model. But I think the new one is smaller to be sleeker and more efficient.
First of all, the styling is not even close to the most important part. It is a luxury crossover. It should look like a box, drive nice, not break, and have nice gadgets. From what I’ve seen, the Acura succeeds on most of that (the gadgets needed help I think). It looks a little like Voldamort (I can’t spell) because…

So is this not going to be based on the F150 chassis any longer? Looks wise I think it’s a great start. Yeah, there is a lot of Range Rover, but the RR is gorgeous. Hopefully the wheels are a 5k option that is easily avoided, and you can get it in a color that isn’t - whatever that is. They should have John Hamm do…
But usually Subaru makes endearingly ugly cars :-). Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t anything really awful about it at all. It just isn’t much different. From what people have said, the infotainment needed more help (and the NA motors) than anything else.
He was an amusing asshole but not always in that order. I’m sorry he is dead, because I will die too and his passing makes mine more tangible. He has reminded us of every form of human weakness - mental and physical. Hopefully he made peace with himself and his family.
Did they hire a Porsche stylist? That looks so similar to the current model one wonders why they bothered.
I guess so. I think these all black cars look dumb, personally. I know some people like the look and that’s fine. I don’t know that these cars were claiming to be “murdered out” though. I do like when they replace chrome trim with aluminum or “satin” finish because it’s not so glossy. Volvo does this with their R…
This is a Volvo vs. an SUV in a nearly head on collision. It was 0.0% my fault. The other driver lost control of her Explorer when she tried to switch lanes at the last minute, into an untreated, snowy lane. It didn’t work and she ended up hitting me about where the headlights were (where the small offset crash…
I think if you look at those two cars and think they look indistinguishable, then Consumer Reports is probably all the car info you’ll ever need. And the Malibu you picked is the turbo, and has a lot more power than that sad lump at Hertz. It still sucks though. The SS really just needs better wheels, a new front…
Maybe the guy is just more used to people looking at him with a “what happened to that poor guy” sort of expression.
It has cost them 2 sales with me, so far. Had a 2004 GTO and a G8 GT. Would love to get a car like this. Not dealing with the designer thinking my needs and my safety don’t count.
Great car. Great engineering. Grotesque design. Am I the only consumer who wouldn’t buy a car just because of the disgusting alcantara in the interior. I seriously think that stuff is gross, and it sucks up finger oils and gets even less appealing over time. I have the same issue with the GT3 RS.
I think it is just a Mayan style pyramid for ISIS members to behead infidels on and record the videos and distribute them with full unbreakable encryption while doing their online banking on a format that is immune to search warrants because Tim Cook thinks that’s important.
This car is so much better looking than the one they actually are going to make. 300 mph cars are kinda boring.
