Yeah I agree - but I suppose the cleaner overall look is a fair compromise. And those wheels!

I’m not a true tifosi but this was my favorite of the Testarossa’s lifespan. It still had the hidden headlights but moved up to larger wheels and a cleaner front bumper. I don’t know if mechanically the final model is superior or more desirable - but this looks better to my eyes because it’s cleaner and lets the eye

Schwing!

I just can’t stand the way the window sags.

He means the automatic transmission lever.

Looks like a smurf dropping.

I think her touching it would make it dirtier though... just saying.

Probably looks a lot like rock ‘em sock ‘em robots :-)

Yeah it was a further evolution of the design. Because France.

Two changes this car needs, make lights somehow round - and don’t have the rear window glass come to a point that aim directly at the least attractive part of the design! Overall, I think a big of 928 DNA would do wonders for the car.

The body is actually pretty sharp except for a few details that aren't quite right. But my goodness, it looks like it's riding the wheels and suspension from a Ford Raptor!

If this car hadn't been made we would all have missed one of the best episodes of Top Gear ever.

One of my favorite designs of all time. They tried to remake it a couple times but never equaled it.

It isn't a car that is as significant as a GNX but back in the early 90s a buddy of mine had a 1st gen Ford Probe GT. It was the perfect combination of nothing...nothing...nothing...POW! and AWFUL torque-steer. At 3000 rpm that car thought it was NASCAR because all it wanted to do was go left.

I thought he was more annoyed by the ubiquity of the Porsche and enjoyed the novelty of a German Corvette/Viper type of machine. I'd be interested in a price/drive comparison of the Vette, Viper and AMG. I don't think he's wrong, I just don't get tired of seeing Porsches because I'm a fan :-) But fair enough.

An inferior answer to a question does not become better merely because it is different. I do really like the styling of the MB though - what an improvement over the last one. I wonder why it isn't AWD though - the AMG sedans are almost all if not all AWD now aren't they? I do disagree about the looks, with a couple

is that confirmed? What is it based on platform-wise?

This is an interesting topic because it sets 2 completely ingrained human tendencies against each other. The first is the search for truth and origin. The second is to make a story that invents significance and usually, superiority. The trouble with science is not science itself - it is that science is new. Of course
