That a part is not included on every single car is not an excuse for it not being prepped correctly. What if they told you that your new diesel truck was filled up with gasoline because, "not every model has a motor like this, we can't be expected not to overlook this! This is so complicated!"

That is really cool. To actually sell one, it might make more sense to make the bed longer, but what a cool little concept.

So in other words, they took out some expensive parts that weren't needed for the motor to be tuned in a lighter car that costs 3 times as much? It's still the same basic design though. I call it a draw.

One of my good friends has a black/black one. Not only is it the best looking A6 that I've ever seen, but the sound is just - wow. I was relieved to hear that he got a pretty comprehensive extended warranty for it though, it will cost a fortune to fix anything on it.

If they made a current-gen Brat WRX I would beg beg beg my wife to let me have one. Wonder if they still could make it with t tops?!?! I think pretty much all the landies until the new, chav modern ones are just so cool. The new ones are nice luxury cars but they just don't make any sense because they are too pretty

I think if it had an engine swap for something silly powerful it could be a cool sleeper.

You make a good argument for the car, but I can't help it - I hate how it looks. I loved the 2nd Gen 4DSC model, at least on the outside. But I never ever found an angle on this car that I didn't think was awkward. The front is too big and wide, the fender flairs are awkward, the tail is both droopy and stubby at the

And a single dog turd inspired 90% of their engineers.

Not even close. Though that is a fast car no argument.

Everyone wins!

A fair enough statement but STILL. Not checking the suspension seems like making a Big Mac and forgetting to put meat on it. It seems to me like that should be a basic prep-to-sell checklist and removing those bushings ought to be on there. I did notice that VW has made them out of a bright colored plastic now - I

I think the C7 is ok - but it isn't a car that I'd consider buying as a daily driver car because it's just so impractical and expensive. And although the 911 gets a lot of grief for having fundamentally the same design since it came out - the styling of the corvette is pretty much the same since the 70s. Even though

I’m not a Chevy or a Ford guy or whatever so I’m not speaking from any particular bias - but this sounds like it could be one if the most desirable cars that Detroit has ever made.

I’m calling bullshit on the dealership because this happened to my dealership IN THE YEAR 2006. If someone runs a service bay and has no idea about this they should be fired and blackballed from ever working on a car again. The same thing happened last fall when I bought an V60 R Design. The front end looked stupidly

I hope that air intake has a filter for dog slobber!

As an R. VW are weenies for making it but holding it hostage.

To the bean counters, and the engineers who actually designed them... You know, kinda like how Lincoln makes distinctive looking Fords and Acura makes super duper different looking Hondas. The only difference is that the Lamborghini has already migrated to the newer platform that I believe will be introduced next

This version is so much better looking than the SV with all that unpainted crap. Reminds of a stripper economy car from the 90’s where you had to pay extra to get painted bumpers. (the model also helps - someone who works in their marketing has a good eye.)

You are aware that they share a platform and if you were to buy the v10 R8, that the motor is the same as well? Obviously they don’t look alike, but they share a lot of car dna.

Ummm, well how do I say this, it’s not even close. Part of the problem is that there are a lot of mid engine supercars now. Many of them have the same general shape of pointy at the front and kinda square at the back. When the Countach came out, it was just a shocking car. Really the only thing on it that has aged
