Hadn't read this when I posted but YES. This is a LOT of Audi.

I don't despise it, don't get me wrong. What I'm feeling isn't hate or revulsion or anything that strong. Just meh. When I look at it, having no sense of scale, it looks like an Audi A8, only less distinctive because I'm familiar with Audi's design language. So although it's a perfectly NICE car, what on earth about

Im not sure about carbon specifically, but fiberglass, another resin-based composite, is difficult to form and leaves large gaps. The hood might even be aluminum, I don't know, but the car in the picture has such an enormous gap that it seems like a kit car. If that was a compromise in the name of meterials, it came

No idea if that is a trend or not. But Toyota is a company that sells cars on the reputation of no fuss, practical, and reliable. To someone who likes to drive, the Accord has always been a better choice. The press seems to agree the new model is pretty fantastic.

In that "modern cars all look alike" way. The KIA is a lot sportier and polished in its design. But the basics are all very similar, no doubt.

I think step 1 is be able to pay for it yourself. In this day and age, lots of married couples keep their own expenses and split bills. If you have the scratch, why should a car, a season ticket plan, or golf once a week be different. If you bundle it with "Ill sit at home for a girl's night every month." She may have

It looks like a front engine car with its collar popped up.

amen, if you can't build a carbon hood to fit, use aluminum.

I think you have to view this car as a sort of tech-demo with a car attached. I mean I get it, there are cars that produce better numbers. There are also cars that I prefer to look at. But I will give Toyota credit, they worked on gaining expertise with a future material, and built a pretty sweet car in the process.

I agree, that his styling is being taken for granted shows that Kia is becoming established. I do see a lot of Audi (the cut line under tail lights for example) and also a lot of Alpha in the details.

At least it was nice enough to disguise the manufacture's name as it got older.

A good, reliable car, but the front is a hot mess.

Here for sure, in Europe the wagon is usually 2/3 of the volume, if not more. But here, you're right.

I've sat in both and found them both super cramped. I had the ATS on my list when I shopped for a Volvo S60 - another car with a pretty small back seat. With the CTS, the back door is so small and has so little side glass, it's not really easier to get into than a 2 door. I didn't think the ATS would be better since

I'm curious if it was still running when they took it apart and/or what failed. But this is pretty much the reason that imports (in particular leases) have free maintenance while the thing is under warranty. I still am suspicious of the crazy long oil change intervals - my Volvo says 10,000 miles but at about 6 I

You beat me to it. But yes, quite.

What I don't like on the new model is the headlights and the lower air intake. A mustang should never look like it has a big nose (upper grill) and a stupid smile/grin (lower air intake). Anything remotely intimidating about the car just goes poof.

Honestly, I think he's on the wrong network. If Top Gear were not on a public broadcasting network that is supposed to be inclusive/informative I don't really think anyone would notice. The Duck Dynasty family has made statements that I think were much more corrosive because they were serious. We have all cracked

why can't we have Jonah Hill, Tatum, McCarthy and Amy Schumer. I think that cast would have to try hard not to be funny.

me too and it has been great fun with some crashes.
