Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell are big exceptions - their shows are definitely worth watching. They don’t dumb things down for their viewers.

I don’t understand why CNN doesn’t learn from MSNBC. They refuse to have people like Kellyanne and Gorka on nor do they have panelists who argue with each other. It’s all very civilized and they are killing it in the ratings.

Can you imagine the benefits companies would have if men could get pregnant? They would have 2-year paid maternity leave and offices would have free day care on-site.

It helps to ensure that the liquid won’t become super-heated and shatter the glass. But it’s really not necessary to go through all that - just put a damp sponge in there for 30-45 seconds and then everything wipes up very easily. And you get a clean sponge as an added bonus.

I loved this section too - and then I got a little bit older and realized they printed urban legends a few times and felt so cheated.

I think much of the problem is that the good ones get promoted and don’t work the streets like patrolmen. My dad was one of the good ones and spent his career searching for missing children. He retired early when he got transferred to narcotics because he said he became a cop to help people, not to send them to jail…

I waver back and forth from being bereft that I won’t live long enough to benefit from technology that will allow me to drastically increase my lifespan to being relieved that I’ll be dead before climate change causes Mad Max-style wars for drinkable water.
