Unnecessary.

It’s so beautiful. (Wipes tear....)

I have moved that can three times. (As in literally packed and moved it across state lines.) My hilarious, not socially appropriate uncle bought it for me at Orange Blossom Groves Shop in Wildwood, Fl. in 1976. (Spoiler alert my cousin opened hers. SPAGHETTIOS.)

I’m so glad that you are going! Take care and feel free to get back with me if you have any questions. I’m going to be 50 next year and I regret not taking better care of younger me.

I am so sorry that you have been unwell for this Christmas. You are one of my favorite commenters and I love the way you always end your posts on a positive note. Much good thoughts and hopes that this is a temporary setback and this new year brings you the best health and happiness.

Hey sis! (I mean how many passive-aggressive, fat shaming mothers can there be......? :( )

I had a diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism and massive kidney stone at basically the same time. A parathyroid tumor (which is usually benign; tumor is a scary word but it just means mass) leaches calcium from your bones and dumps it into your bloodstream, which is why a patient develops kidney stones. Ya’ll are all awesome. Thanks so much!

The more people in a child’s life there are, the better life is. You are part of a tapestry of love and support that makes a kid feel safe and loved. You ARE Aunt Maggie and that’s awesome!

Yay! My kiddo hasn’t been really trying (she’s in retail, working her heine off to open a new store and forgot her birth control (?!) NOT like her, and HAPPY JOY JOY! Her pretty super husband is over the moon (I CANNOT believe those words came out of my fingers :)) Also my other daughter is 6 months along and we are

OUR DAUGHTER IS PREGNANT!!!We are all so happy we could burst! Our present was a sonogram picture! Best Christmas ever in the history of Christmases! Best wishes to all!

My hubstar (not a typo he’s been a VERY GOOD BOY THIS CHRISTMAS) woke up from his surgery with NO PAIN. It was like a miracle! I think you would have to be a little batty to not be afraid of the anesthesia but you’ll feel so much better!

I’m a nurse and when I first started with “The Great Parathyroid Odyssey of 2011” all I could come up with to describe my symptoms was WEIRD. (I’m sure that was super helpful for my doctors :() Weight loss, joint pains; just vague stuff. The improvement post surgery was relatively fast and kind of miraculous. I’m sure

I had hyperparathyroidism, felt WEIRD, got tested, (yay giant 24 hour urine container!) and now feel SO MUCH BETTER. I am sorry that your dad is going through all this but new and improved treatments are coming out all the time. Much hugs and sympathy. :(

Congratulations! Our daughter gave us a picture of her ultrasound for our Christmas present. BEST SURPRISE EVER!!!!

BINGO.

Has anyone seen the old Dr Phil where she is part of a panel discussion about weight discrimination(“The Great Weight Debate”????) She really came off as informed, caring and DISGUSTED with that Mimi Roth (sic) person. The Biggest Loser is gross now, but I used to like some aspects of it. I remember in one of the

My husband is watching the debate; I’m watching this.

Is that a Spaghettio’s aspic? HORK.
