The argument I’ve seen is “that’s because unlike Obama supporters, Trump supporters HAVE JOBS.”

Listening to the NPR hosts try to describe how light the crowds are while avoiding making it sound like they were crowing about it in a partisan fashion was amusing.

I said before on here (I think) that my boss is very much a reagan conservative, into a strong dept of defense...I was debating with him about how the DoD literally wasted like $15 trillion due to shitty accounting over the course of two decades, and he replied with “that’s ok, because they work on top secret stuff.

Those little leeches need to start contributing to society early! No free rides for 5 yr olds!

I’m not 100% sure we’re going to have the luxury of existence for three more generations, but I like your optimism.

I don’t know if it’s actually agoraphobia, but I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is. On top of everything else Trump already is, I just can’t wrap my head around the way he lives his life.

Currently imagining Michael Scott in Times Square.

“He has not been a person to do staged events for the sake of doing staged events.”

There’s an interview with Adam Curtis (director of the BBC Documentary “HyperNormalisation”) and he basically said that in the last years of the Soviet Union everyday people basically understood that the government was lying to them, that the economic model was unsustainable and that nothing was working as it should.

2016 was an interesting year to get clean.

My favorite thing about this election is that the same people who always bitched that Obama was soft on Putin are now enthusiastically supporting a guy who is openly sucking his dick. Excuse my language.

Seriously at this point how the fuck is this real life. It’s too much to absorb. Like my new reality has shifted too quickly and I can’t fucking handle it. If I had the money I seriously would just go and herd cows at this point. The world has gone fucking mad.

Also politicians who are actually doing their jobs don’t have time to be having twitter fights with celebrities at 3 am. They’re likely unaware the celebrity even made the comments because they have a thousand more important things to do, and have staffers to manage the low-level PR stuff for them.

Also, how Trumpsters are complaining about Hollywood types sticking their nose into politics... after electing a reality t.v. game show host President.

“I really wish she would have stood up last night and said, ‘I didn’t like the election results but he is our president and we’re going to support him.’”

Kourtney’s ambivalence is #lifegoals.

But remember that these are the same people who say things like “The police won’t pull you over/investigate you if you don’t do anything wrong” every time a black person complains about racial profiling or, you know, getting fucking shot or something.

Hey guys, I keep hearing that I should stop bitching about DJT because our institutions will protect us.

Don’t try to make sense of it. He has no idea what he’s talking about and you’re just courting a brain aneurysm if you think about it for too long.

My faith in a working government is approaching zero.
