No, Dunk & Egg is a quite different story. Stuff like this isn’t totally absent though it’s just not quite the same.

That’s not an accurate representation of the book. This just reads like someone mad Team Green was made to look like villains, idiots, and assholes in this episode and not someone upset on how it differs from the book. The book definitely didn’t make it seem like Daemon was intentioned here, it was very much left in

It sounds like they’re getting that part right.

I’m a high rank support main and no this is not the case at all. If anything this exacerbates the power vacuum in the support role right now by freeing up even more bandwidth for aggressive plays.

I think that’s just a continued leaning into the idea of how fake and staged reality TV is, but I don’t think that’s the only meaning behind the sequence. There’s elements of Asher and Whitney’s relationship, Asher struggling to fit into a world that doesn’t want him (even the people he cares most for don’t love or

You are not running your own private dedicated server on Minecraft on Xbox. Even with Bedrock that’s not a thing except through Mojang which assuredly is not your own “private” server.

This is factually true though. You’re just getting uppity because obviously there’s more to piracy than preservation but that doesn’t make it untrue.

Yes, I definitely think there’s something to Asher being Whitney’s frankenstein monster. I think that partially plays into the theme of mirrors and warped reflections. Asher was a warped reflection of Whitney, he was almost a genuine version of what she wanted to be (genuine in that he committed to it fully by the end

Solid list! Very happy with the choices and am even more happy that Alan Wake 2 took the top slot - for exactly the reasons described in the article. It really was a breath of fresh air that I haven’t had in many years. It felt like what games have been circling for a long time but no one could quite pin down - at

Great list, our interests align well particularly your love for Alan Wake 2 (and Remedy in general). But while I’m fine with a slideshow, the fact that clicking Next Slide just loads an ad on the side sometimes twice... is aggravating to say the least.

That is just obvious marketing. They saw they didn’t have enough supply to meet demand - so they advertised it as a side gig that anyone can do, even an office worker. That doesn’t just make it reality - any job can be done full-time and DoorDash explicitly encourages full-time work. They just want to minimize how

Then why does the service economy make up such a massive portion of the US economy? This doesn’t add up. These jobs aren’t stepstools to bigger and better things and they haven’t been for decades now. Your idealistic version of society does not exist and is not possible to exist under the current system. For Americans

Sure - but Quake and Warcraft 3 aren’t quite as popular as Football or Soccer are they? That’s their point. This factor is severely limiting to the commercial and popular success of any esport. Yeah, self-hosted games without dependencies on SAAS style delivery will be able to exist - but they won’t ever break through

Up there with Rein? Nah she doesn’t have any S-tier skins and her only A-tier skin is the OWL Wicked skin.

Maybe don’t throw around your own trauma as a weapon? 6 months severance is ridiculously good. I got laid off twice and both times got 4 weeks. That was absolutely hell and the difference that 5 months would give would make more than a little difference. It would have been night and day for me.

Source?

Whataboutism is actually relevant here in that Cyberpunk is well above the average. So if you’re going to come at it from “worst ever” lenses without actually doing raw comparisons - then you just sound like a fool which is why you get those responses.

Pretty much any Bethesda game has worse writing. I think the bar for good writing in video game RPGs isn’t particularly high and I actually think Cyberpunk is above that bar. And I’m not saying that as a compliment.

Tom’s article I can’t even take seriously. It spends far too long arguing semantics and essentially ends by saying generational wealth doesn’t make people rich because they didn’t inherit money to make them rich which is a gross oversimplification of how generational wealth works. Most don’t become rich by directly

Haha! Condescension kind of dulls your point but I do appreciate someone who brings sources or expertise even if its not their own. Happy to consume these when I find the time and get back to you!
