I mean that I don't have to sit through Ford ads or something during games or searching for games/dlcs/videos/etc. I really have no idea where the 'endless pages of ads' you're talking about are.

Yeah, and compared to cable or hulu or online games, or even reading ad-sponsored articles, I find the ads on XBL fairly non-invasive. They're there, but they don't interfere with my ability to play a game or launch an app. It's very easy to scroll past them if I'm not interested.

I made the same decision, then had a dream a few weeks ago that I was in a Newbury Comics-type store, and there was a huge display of MLP figures. I bought many, and woke up disappointed :/. Now I'm wishing my parents still kept all the MLP toys I had as a kid.

I hope so, too. Season 2 did a pretty good job of ruining virtually all of it's female characters, and I really hope that's not going to continue to be the case in S3. I did love Carol with a gun, though.

I haven't read the comics yet, but everyone I know who has loves them and I've been eager to get when I have some extra cash. I've picked up on what some of the differences are through discussions like this, and I think I'd like the comic version better (especially after S2 was so dismally boring). To each their

I would agree that it would be perfect for a list of general post-apocalyptic survival novels, but I don't recall a pandemic being the primary cause of civilization's collapse. It's still an excellent book, though.

EXACTLY. And if they actually write for heads in jars, I will totally by their book.

I had similar testing done recently, and my levels were extremely low, too. My doctor gave me a prescription for D supplements, but you shouldn't take anything without consulting with your own first.

Not necessarily. There's a big difference between the kind you get prepackaged in a grocery store and those fresh from a good tortilleria.

This is a no-brainer. He's already proven he's skilled with a lightsaber, and though he probably won't admit it, I'd be he knows a few phrases of Klingon and Goa'uld.

Also what Duffin said, I suppose. The content here is excellent, but the new system seriously hinders conversation. Technically, I should be replying to Snowkestrel, but I am loathe to start another commenting branch.

Yes, x infinity. And not only will lots of comments get repeated, it's impossible for anyone to connect ideas from other posts. I can't be the only one who found it useful to be able to easily reference more than one thread. If something I'd read during all this clicking was pertinent to my reply now, I'd never be

Science Fiction has always been a genre that explores politics and social justice. That's one of the reasons I love it, and there's no reason it shouldn't be critiqued from that perspective. Many of us appreciate articles like this. If you don't, don't read them.

I'm not proud of it, but they do always get me to watch almost anything as long as an actor from Stargate is in it. It's the only trick up their sleeve, but it works on me. SighFy.

Great article. I love reading this kind of analysis on io9.

Rational me knows she was saying "Angela," but TV conspiracy theorist me knows better. I'm disappointed that Hodgins hasn't yet figured out that Booth is really just a vampire posing as a republican (or at least that's what I tell myself so I don't have to hate Booth. Him and his sneaky charisma. And not carpenter,

I can't reply to your comment because it's too short, but that is obvious now that you said it. I'm not sure if I should feel annoyed that I didn't figure it out earlier, or disappointed because there isn't actually a show called Sup'r Anus.

Fringe is missing from MA, too. And for some godforsaken reason, I can't stop reading whatever title is under House as "Sup'r Anus." What the hell is it actually supposed to be?

Jericho is in Kansas, and Jeremiah is in Cheyenne Mountain, so I'm looking forward to the epic throw-down of Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping v. Luke Perry and Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

Duh. The paddle. Kinky, but still straight.
