Honestly, after the last Puss in Boots movie and it’s ending, I actively want a new Shrek movie in that style with that energy and level of quality. 

To be fair, Violent Night (Christmas + Die Hard) from a few years ago ended up being amazing! So perhaps this (Christmas + Taken) could be good as well. I thought the trailer was a fun kind of silly, so I’m willing to give it a shot. 

I finally got around to building my Optimus Prime set just the other week! It’s fun! I’d bought him Day One in my local LEGO store and then just never built him. He looks neat.

30%-er right here! I thought it was quite enjoyable and I’m definitely looking forward to more seasons. I didn’t know if any more were being made! I’m a little disappointed that the trailer didn’t feature even a tease of the other major storyline, but no biggie.

Anyone looking for good Henson content, Kevin Perjurer of Defunctland on YouTube did a whole series of Henson biography videos, each video covering a different era of Henson’s life and creative projects. They are very well done. 

The death of art aside, I was dorkily obsessed with Knuckles when I was in middle school for reasons that only make sense to an 11-year-old. He would lose his mind at this show’s very existence, so in his honor, I will be watching.

I mean, I guess the movie could be switching things up, but Shalla-Bal was the Silver Surfer’s girlfriend on his home planet. I don’t know if she ever had an alternate story where she became the Surfer instead. There’s no harm in it, of course. 

You’re for sure not alone. I got the exact same vibes from the conversation with Gin, and then with Blackthorne’s outburst. I believe the showrunners are smart enough to trick us with fake vibes, but at the same time, vibes are vibes. 

Heck yeah! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on an Amalgam Comics collected edition, just to have it in my collection!

Words cannot express how out of his mind excited Young Henchman4Hire would have been to know this show is a thing and that it looks halfway decent. What even is the world that we are living in?

My cousin got the Defiant for Christmas one year, and we all got to play with it. My gosh, that thing was as glorious as you can imagine! Two ships, which open up. The launch pad system. So many places to put the Joes. So good.

I don’t get the scene where the purple If says “You could save all of us.” And the girl replies, “All of who? And don’t say ‘ifs’.”

But, that’s the answer to her question. That’s clearly who the purple If was referring to. Why would she stop him from answering her question? Why can’t he say ‘Ifs’ when that is the…

I really enjoyed it. Lead trio was great and wish we had more scenes of them together, or that their camaraderie was a stronger focus of the finale. Fun little easy, breezy superhero space adventure.

My local movie theater apparently underestimated the film because they packed us in one of the crummy side theaters opening night (no reclining chairs!) and yet it was still filled to bursting with the young people all super excited for this movie. I had no idea what they were cheering about half the time. 

I’m right there with you, friend! The show has been fine and fun so far, but this episode really kicked things up a notch for me! Loved that ending, loved the emotion we got throughout. 

Same. I think it was the first game I ever 100%ed. So I definitely don’t need them reinventing the wheel here. Refine, perfect, deliver, and enjoy.
