Turn yourself in, pal.
Turn yourself in, pal.
“Trick question. Lemmy IS God.”
You are right. The Octagon would have been much better.
If you’re going for some Arnold reference, at least go something more approprate, like The Terminator, Raw Deal, or Kindergarten Cop.
Hemmerling! You son of a bitch...
I came here making the same joke, alas it’s just a poorly written headline.
But are you 40?
By their very nature, generic insults are over used and lacking in creativity. You only think the ones that right wingers tend to dole out are in a special class because they are directed at you. Open your eyes to the world around you, ya stupid fuckin’ snowflake. :p
Fuck Trump, but I’m also losing patience for my liberal brethern who engage in similarly witless, toothless insults directed at the right.
Nobody wants to hear your whiny libturd snowflake whining, you whiny cucktard.
Yeah, if I want to watch really bad football, Bears/Browns is on Sunday. I don’t need a whole ‘nother league to scratch that itch.
Let’s even say the appetite is ripe for a more violent, more “patriotic” pushback on the NFL. The same issues that have existed for every NFL wannabe still exist: talent. The NFL will reign supreme and most people seem happy with college football as their less-talented option to the NFL.
And - I keep harping on this - who the heck is going to want to broadcast or sponsor this? NFL sponsors can overlook, say, Ryan Shazier’s injury because a) it’s the freakin’ NFL and b) at least the league does lip service to trying to keep players from getting grievously injured to provide cover to broadcasters and…
All I remember is the XFL promoting all the hits, but the actual product being basically the same level of violence, just less skilled. You can’t even pursue that angle any more anyway with CTE.
As a “normal” NFL fan, I’m watching less football than I did before. Monday night, Thursday night, Sunday games from 1pm to whenever the 8:30pm game ends. There’s just more content than I have time to care about. And that’s outside of issues like concussions or owners like Jerry Jones.
I’m assuming the main push for the XFL now will be that it’s not the NFL. The NFL is probably the most unpopular it’s been in recent memory with concussions/anthem protests, so McMahon is just trying to start up a potential replacement, rules be damned. He probably thinks he could rip off 99% of the NFL’s rules and…
Right. Making players stand for the anthem will draw the MAGA crowd for a game or two, but if it’s just more bad football, it’s not going to last.
This was brutal...
We are definitely birds of the same perverted feather.
