A lot of people won’t understand that you were being sarcastic here.

I gotta say, I really do love that people are taking you seriously. Well done +1

You...I like you.

Only half Jap I must confess.

It is amazing how familiar I have gotten with the upper level prospects and needs of good baseball teams in the last few months. Just last week I said to a friend “Quintana for something like Eloy Jimenez would be nice, but I don’t think the Cubs would part with him after trading away Torres last year.”

Could not agree more. Now move Robertson for something useful and see if anybody is dumb enough to part with anything of value for the ghost of Todd Frazier.

Plus, this is the exact type of move you want your team currently in the window to make. Trade a couple prospects for a proven need with multiple years of control and a team-friendly contract.

Agreed. Rick Hahn continues to impress me to get value for his top assets. I can’t believe it, but both sides of Chicago should be celebrating today.

really makes u think

I have noticed that along with the fact he’s playing for a team that doesn’t have a ton of offense, so I’m willing to look past the standard numbers in this case. Not to mention, the Cubs can afford to give up top prospects at this point, so I guess they didn’t really lose anything too significant. Hopefuly Jimenez

Jimenez is basically the best headliner they could have hoped for. That’s huge. I’m worried about Cease though; he’s all the way down in A ball and has already had TJ Surgery. That’s a long ways away from an MLB roster that he’s gotta stay healthy for. I’m skeptical he’s ever a mid rotation starter for the Sox, but

Not a good move, a great move!

White sox guy here, probably go to about 20 games a year. I’m thrilled at what the sox are doing and couldn’t be happier with what Hahn was allowed to do this past year.

As a Cub fan, I’m certainly not feeling like they got the better end of this trade, but I suppose if he pitches well, my opinion might change.

I’m a fan of the other team, but this is a great trade for both teams. It’s good to see that the Sox are finally acting like a competent MLB organization this year, and the not the garbage they’ve been for the previous decade.

At least they won’t have to move to a new house/apartment. That’s gotta be nice.

So Dylan Ceased to be a Cub?

lol, bad assumption on when in the process the sound was expected.... PAM is still silly for cooking meat but tssssssst is superior to glub glub as far as sounds go

Ken M, that you?
