U4 at the TD Hexahedron or GTFO.

Well, that’s disturbingly appropriate...

Quibbles about their actual music/personae aside, if you’ve never seen U2 live, do yourself a favor. They are probably the most innovative live band the world has ever seen.

It’s tough, because I assume the multimedia spectacle costs enough that you have to do X number of shows to make your money back. The Killers would be an obvious choice, but I don’t know if they could do 50 shows, or whatever.

finding the one bulb that’s out will take forever!

“ It just would’ve been nice if it were associated with a cooler band than U2.”

Watching it on the screens is obviously the right choice.

That was my first thought.  There’s plenty of heritage acts out there with singers whose voice has seen better days, and many of them try to cover it up with “the show”.  This feels like the logical conclusion.

It also would have been a great place for U2 to play in their prime.

(Bono was completely anemic in those clips. Just sad. I saw him 25 years ago, he would punched that old man in the face for charging people money for that performance.)

Maybe until U3 performs at Madison Cube Garden

Never happen now.

However, just seeing the promo shots of the Moon projected on the exterior has me spellbound. The Sphere has infinite more possibilities of taking my money then their

I thought they were intending to cover him with sequins.

Only The Edge can Delay our impending doom.

Now playing

It somehow reminds me of the Carousel scene from Logan’s Run.

It reminds me of that big dome on Krypton at the beginning of Superman I.

Hey, maybe this will be the thing that finally distracts us so much that we forget once and for all that billionaire shitbags continue to be the source of 99% of humanity’s problems.

This would have been a perfect place for Pink Floyd to play in their prime.

We’ll see what Taylor Swift and her EARS have to say about that!
