No, they love the first if they can screech about how unfair it is that someone might have to face social/economic consequences for saying something super racist or sexist.

I've lived in Austin for the last 3.5 years, and am a college student. So I honestly forget how crazy the people who most of Texas votes for are. And then I go back home (to a white, middle class, conservative) suburb outside Houston and everyone wants it to be 1950 again.

Lifelong Texan and college student, here. Most of us (esp. the under-30s) aren't like this. I firmly believe a lot of our crazy politicians wouldn't keep getting elected if more of the youngs/minorities/working class were voting. Which, of course, is harder to do if you can't get off work or can't drive to a voting

I'd say it's probably UK sizes, and she's actually a 12. I really doubt 6 because I wear a 6 at some places, and I'm 5'5" and small (although a lot of things fit me weird- small frame, big boobs and quads).

Extreme thinness is kind of a big one, though. Sure she's young and conventionally hot, but if you can't see how she's different than any other model, you're being willfully blind. She's probably got 50 pounds on the usual types in Sports Illustrated. No, it's not as big a deal as it would be if she, say, WEREN'T

Anyone else getting some serious "uncanny valley" vibes from Teresa's face? Like, I think she stole my soul through my computer screen. Also girl where ur forehead at?

Also more intelligent.

Troo.

You don't want him, we don't want him. Can we have a subset of Whites called the Oranges that consists of John Boehner, Tan Mom, and the cast of Jersey Shore? Cause we don't really want them either.

Nope, nobody thinks it's exotic.

I still like James Franco because I studiously ignore everything he does in real life and pretend that he's really Daniel Desario.

EW EW EW.

My friend's grandmother's a Christian Scientist. A few years ago, she had a tumor the size of a small watermelon in her abdomen, and absolutely REFUSED to see a doctor about it. She looked horrible. Super thin and sick, except for her stomach which looked pregnant.

College was when I lost 20+ pounds, figured out how to handle all my hair, learned how to make eye contact with other people when talking to them, and made friends who actually liked me.

Right? That and everything Kate McKinnon (really any of the women) do. They're great.

Same. I've watched my mom sleep with frownies on her brow for years to try to get rid of her RBF wrinkle. Recently noticed a faint wrinkle forming on my own forehead. I'm 21, aka too young for this shit.

Always.

I'd understand if he never wanted to go back, but considering that this was the action of one person, who was fired, and the restaurant apologized and showed real interest in fixing the situation, it seems like calling for an actual boycott may have been overreacting. Racist people are everywhere. We should punish

Right? I'm not usually "that kind" of atheist but this personal exemption bullshit really brings out the "Oh I'm gonna put everyone at risk of dying from a previously eradicated disease because my imaginary sky friend said so (or didn't, and I'm just an asshole)" in me.

Metro is not (had to look it up- I think it was gone before I got here in 2011). But Spider House is still here! I was just there last night.
